The last few days I have been a little "down in the dumps" probably cos I was so tired from the weekend yet I still had lots to do. Dex had a haircut last week he looks so cute ... and so did I (am not saying I look cute though hahahahaha), I had mine clippered at no7. It was a bit short but I love it ....its always been short but this is super super short for me ..... all I do is wash and go and add a little bit of Aveda Brilliance when its dry and that stops any fuzziness and gives it a fantastic shine. I bought a new lipstick by M&S called Dusted Plum only £3 and it does the trick brilliantly, I can either add it to something Ive got or use it on its own. I tell you M&S is quite good in their essentials range, I bought a nail varnish on Saturday when I went to get Mums birthday pressie and the nail varnish has lasted all week so far and its really a lovely colour .... Chiffon. I just need now to find a nice blusher but that wilhave to wait a bit. Dont take any notice of the swatches of the lipsticks on the M&S website because the one I bought is nothing like the colour it shows ... it is a similar colour to the nail varnish in Chiffon I have already mentioned ... its definintely worth checking out the range colours are beautiful .... I just fancied something a bit more muted for me at the moment but they really do have all the colours in the rainbow. Tonight I think Ill probably pop on a little fake tan and see if I can cheer myself up with a bit of pampering. Yesterday hubby and I went to look at an old house, it was beautiful but needed a huge amount of work to be done and at the price it was it was just too expensive. We are trying to downsize but it doesnt look like its happening I think we are stuck at the moment and thats quite worrying. But back to the house .... as soon as I walked in I felt a lovely feeling, it was like being in a time warp and I certainly would want it if we had money to spare. The agent very carefully didnt mention to us that it needed any updating and updating would have been good if it was just purely cosmetic stuff but this house didnt even have a proper kitchen! Mind you it was beautiful it had previously been owned by a couple in their 80s that had died and had been empty for quite a while, not selling without any doubt because of the quite big changes you would have to make. It certainly gave me a warm feeling though when I walked in much more than the house I live in ever does even now, at least I know its 100% an old house I want to be in again. Now its got me to wondering whether we will ever get out of this financial predicament we are in?? Oh well heres to keeping looking.

Pamper yourself! Even in the face of financial difficulties you should always take a little time to take care of you!
