To be honest Ive lost the interest in blogging along with losing interest, albeit I hope temporarily, in other parts of my life too lol but I thought I would share this with you because its such an amazing piece of technology and I didnt think for one moment that I would be on the other end of some wonderful invention.
Yesterday I went for my 6monthly download of my ICD and cardiology appointment and to my astonishment I was offered home monitoring with my ICD. You literally get a box from the Manufacturer not disimilar to the box some of us use for the internet, you plug it into the phone socket and hey presto it finds my ICD implanted in my chest by WiFi and it sends information directly down the phone line so the hossie know exactly when any problems are or have occured. Is nt that great technology or what? I read recently about it in the daily newspapers and I was hoping that one day I would get it then unexpectedly I got it. Ths is similar to the piece of equipment but as the picture is so small I cant tell if it is the same as my Manufacturer.
I know we moan about the state of our NHS in this country but I have to say that once you find the right hospital the things they can do for you are mind blowing and I am really so grateful.
The hospital appointment showed a few changes so I am giving myself a good talking to and trying to re evaluate a few things. I know Im always saying stuff like this and I am good at giving advice to others but not at taking it myself but for once I really really really need to sort some stuff out bigtime.

I am totally amazed at how that machine can "wifi" information, this is just too much technology for me!
I love technology and this is a cool thing for sure. I am happy to hear you are taking good care of yourself! Hope is something I hold closely to my heart, hope for something better and I promise it will come.
