L'Oreal Advert Banned by the ASA ....... good

Misleadingly exaggerated and this advert has been banned, and so it should be.  It really annoys me that they are allowed to do airbrushing, well in this case, they obviously arent.  Young people are impressionable and aspire to be so beautiful and flawless and it just doesnt happen in real life. We all have imperfections and we have to learn to deal with them, we are all beautiful in our own way warts and all!!!

Quite agree! Actually I think she looks far better in the "real" photo.

Why would anyone want to be airbrushed, because if you met them in real life you would see they don't really look like that!

I hope they ban hair products and mascara too Lorena. Whats the point in having eye lash extension and hair extensions then saying its the "product" thats done it !! xx

I agree Ayak she looks much better un airbrushed xx

I agree too Fab, if we had to meet someone and we had only seen an airbrushed picture we wouldnt recognise them lol xx

Ridiculous - they aren't selling the brand, they are selling air-brushing. It's false advertising. Why can't women just be happy with their wrinkles? I'm delighted with all of mine - regardless where they are!

I agree. This kind of fake advertising makes me seethe with anger. Because of these media scams, young people are unable to accept any kind of blemish to their skin. It makes a mockery of age.
