Omg I have just received a Happy Award from Ayak at Turkish Delight, I love her blog about life in Turkey not sure how to get the link to go see it, if anyone knows tell me cos its driving me mad not to be able to do it. Anyway I now have to list 10 things that make me happy so here goes.
The smell of freshly brewed coffee
My family, especially my sons and hubby and mum and of course the 2 dogs
The sun
The sea
Driving my little blue mini
Going to the volunteering I do every Thursday
Eating curries
Chatting to friends
Wearing red lipstick and/or nailvarnish
To be alive enjoying all the things I love (even though I moan a lot bout stuff and sometimes how I feel, it could have been nearly all so different 4 years ago)
Anyway thats it the 10 things wish it was more lol cos there are oh so many more things to mention. Its weird really cos yesterday I felt so fed up and also today because there is just so much sad news around but really it shows that we should all just take time out to write a list of what makes us happy when we feel down because I am sure seeing things in print makes our lives that little better and makes us realise its not always all bad all the time.

Well done on your award. Its hard to explain how to link but when you do a post, go over those icons at the top its the one that looks like a chain and you can cut and paste someone's blog title or a website or something into your post.
It's great to see that small things make us happy, we have no excuse! There are so many things worth going for... thanks for commenting on my blog. I am just back from Spain (this weekend) and to be honest, I loved Madrid but I realized that I idolized it before - i think it had to do with the fact that being a teenager it was my dream... just because.
But it was great to make it there, it was almost like reaching the top of a mountain !
