As usual I have already said in previous post I am on a mission. It seems I always have to be on a mission, why cant I just plod through the day. Anyway I have been out hunting for cheap lanterns and an old table... so far no good, I always run out of steam, however I did find lovely fruit and veg hehehe. OMG what a nutter am I, I go out looking for stuff for the garden and come back with completely the opposite. Anyway I have just made mushroom soup for the first time. On saturday prior to the wedding I went into this hotel
and had the most beautiful mushroom soup I have ever tasted, so today I have tried to replicate it lol, mine tastes quite nice but there is something missing and Im not sure what, maybe they added some sort of cream but because of my cholesterol I dont want to do that and they probably added some truffle oil, but because of my budget I dont want to do that either. I followed Jamie Olivers recipe but missed out the marscapone Im wondering what I could put in to be a substitute? The Old Bell is definitely a place to visit it is a most beautiful hotel, then go to the Abbey Gardens and I can guarantee you will have the most wonderful day.

What about fromage frais as a subtitute? Or is that also high in cholesterol? Not sure but you'll probably know.
