A camomile teacup

I saw this is the Lifestyle section of the Mail on Sunday Newspaper  and I thought what a brilliant idea and just had to share it.  I am definitely going to make some of these.

You will need:
  • camomile plant such as Chamaemelum nobile Treneague (strong scent and no flowers)
  • John Innes No 2 compost with a handful of multipurpose compost to lighten, plus another handful of soil
  • a pretty teacup or similar
What to Do
  • Mix up the soils and place layer over the bottom of the teacup
  • Put the plant in the teacup firm in some more soil
  • Water well and firm down and turn cup upside down to drain excess water
  • wipe teacup and display or give away as a beautifully scented present.

I recently began growing oregano, basil and parsley in a pot in my balcony :)
