OMG its so cold here today and we are waiting for the snow to hit. The ground is still very icy though I did go to the shops today for some "foreign" goodies. The shop I go to I think is Bangledeshi and I am usually the only english person in there and more than that ususally I am the only woman lol. They dont seem to speak much english though we get by by gesturing and the food they stock is absolutely delicious. Today I needed just coriander, corguettes, coconut milk (which I forgot to get as I didnt write it down and brain is fried most days lately), olives, onions and always I can never resist their freshly made vegetable samosas. The shop is such a hotch potch of goods but I know where everything is and once I am in there I feel that I am somewhere in a warmer climate for some reason and definitely the smells that come from there make me feel good. Music inside is debatable lol but I enjoy the babble of the owners and customers talking even though I dont understand a word!!
Dinner is now made (Jamie Oliver pasta recipe) as hubby is back to work tonight after 3 nights off and dogs walked (though not by me), clothes washed and house clean yay. Snow is now coming down hard, am glad im all cozy indoors. I think Ill go make a coffee !
