Sunny days

MRI was done yesterday although I had a long wait but since it was a beautiful day I left the hospital and had a walk around and they said they would phone me when I was needed.  I looked at all the beautiful houses and looked in a few estate agents.  If I had a cool 2 million plus I would buy an apartment there lol.  I ate a wonderful vegetable curry and afterwards trundled back to the railway station where as usual it was a scramble, as soon as the train details come up on the screen people run for the train so that they can get a seat, luckily I have learnt the hard way and pre book one so at least I can ask someone to politely leave my seat, which last night I had to do.  He was so grumpy cheeky man, briefcase on one seat and his body on another and he hadnt even booked either, he moved though lolololol.  Now I have to wait til 10th May for the results so it will another day in London but I will at least know what they intend to do with me hehehe.
Today its been volunteering and as I have already mentioned it will close in september but we are trying to see if we can run it under a different name and become a charity and offer a few different services, but its going to take a lot of time, effort and committment but there are several of us who wish to continue so hopefully it can be some joint effort but I somehow dont think the authorities will let us but we are going to try.  If not we will continue to run something just on the Thursday where at least everyone can meet up, we all have plenty of ideas but it may not happen .... we will see.
Other than that its been a beautiful day, warmer outdoors than in, long may this weather continue cos I love it.  Going back outside now before the sun disappears.

Glad the MRI is out of the way as you weren't looking forward to it..but at least the sun was shining.
I hope you can get charity status for your project. It's a lot of hard work. Many years ago I set up a Saturday playgroup for children with learning disabilities and it's amazing the organising involved in doing something just for a couple of hours a week. I had support from MENCAP and a local youth centre so I was fortunate.
You could try for a Lottery grant? I don't know how that works, and there must be other organisations who may help? I wish you the best of luck anyway....but be careful with your health won't you?
