What a day! Mums still not well, I wasnt happy with how she was when I went round this morning so I rang the Doc to have a chat when I got home. The Doc immediately came out to give mum a thorough checking over, she doesnt reckon it is flu now and that there is something going on in the form of an infection. Its weird cos when I came home from Mums this morning I quickly googled Flu in the Elderly and also Pneumonia. Anway shes had bloods done by the doc and I went and got her antibiotics and made her take one straightaway so hopefully they will kick in soon. I also found out a couple of things that Mum had not told me in great detail hmmmmmm naughty Mum but hopefully soon we will get to the bottom of this. Mum says this is the worst she has ever felt and believe me she has had some really serious health issues in the past. At the moment her blood sugar levels are all over the place (she is diabetic) and of course its affecting her asthma so all in all shes not feeling too good with it all. Heres to hoping she starts to make a recovery pretty soon. Mind you the sweetest thing ever is that her two elderly cats just stay by her side on the bed all day and they didnt even budge for the Doc lol.
