Today I have been pleasantly shocked enough to bring a tear or two to my eye. Son number 2 has been chatting to me for the last couple of months about how he and his friend want to do a charity bike ride in Europe but he was worried it would coincide with a wedding he is going to in Japan, apparently tho he will have 5 days to recover before he goes to the wedding. The application has been sent off and hopefully soon they will know whether the registration is ok or not. Anyway to get to the point of this story lol, we were sat in the car this morning and he said "do you think any of your cronies will sponsor me ?" I said "I am sure they will, what charity are you going to be cycling for?" He said "your charity of course, Cardiomyopathy whatever it is ". Well you could have knocked me down with a feather, I didn't for one moment think it would be for that and I don't know why it didn't cross my mind. It was enough to make me feel weepy cos Son number 2 can be a bit of a difficult buggar at times and drives me round the bend but every so often he does something exceptionally lovely and today was one of those days and The Cardiomyopathy Association will be so pleased.
