Inspiration

Finally my Sex and he City book arrived yesterday, the first one got lost somewhere along the line in the post.  I got a refund and bought this one even cheaper, and am very happy with it.  My main bedroom needs revamping a bit cos Marley sucked and yes Im saying sucked, the corners of the duvet cover.  I think I have had these two covers since Marley was a puppy and he is now 4!  Anyway I found when I read the book I so loved Big and Carries bedroom and so the revamp has begun and two colours I didnt actually think went well together actually do.  My old curtains were and still are blue and green tartan and I love them and the duvet cover matched them and I could never find something to go with the curtains hence the sucked and holey duvet cover left on the bed.  Omg what I am typing sounds rubbish but the general gist of the matter is that we dont always have to have stuff matchy matchy like I try to do.  Now I have got Cappuccino coloured duvet covers and I am going to sew cappuccino coloured lace on the edges of the curtains to bring it all together, then add a couple of fluffy cushions and cut the old duvet cover up and make cushion covers from that too.  Ill use the old pillow cases and mix and match them up with the new cappuccino coloured ones.  It sounds a vile mix but hers to hoping that it works, and at least it will keep me occupied and out of trouble hehehe .... all thanks to inspiration from my new book! 

Anyway I am now off to have a drink and settle down to watch the footie..... Come on England !!
