I havent posted for a few days omg there has been so much going on. Im going to write the script for a Soap you cant even make up stuff thats been happening. I go to volunteering on Thursdays and one of the women, a friend of mine called D. always comes as well. I spoke to her in the morning and she was just going to pop out to enrol at a local gym so she cold use it for some upper body exercises, she has MS and decided that it may help her somewhat. Anyway while she was there she fainted, and this was only enrollling lol, anyway someone caught her and she sat for a while and then she managed to get to her car and drive home somehow. She called me at volunteering and myself and another person G. went straight round to see her as D. was being violently sick and was very dizzy. We made her call the Doctor who said she had a virus so we left her with sick bags and paracetemol and G. went back that evening to check up on her. I phoned her to keep checking then she asked me to go to the Chemist and get her some stuff which I did, I took it round to her and to be honest she didnt look completely ok but I thought thats cos she is having violent headaches and hasnt slept and I thought no more about it other than she had a virus. Well, Sunday she phoned me to say she had rung the NHS Helpline and they advised her to go to the out of hours nurse service so she got herself there by taxi and then phoned me in a terrible state. They advised her to go to hospital, no ambulance called or anything by them, so I took her there. On arriving there she was admitted immediately once we had found out exactly where we had to go and she was assessed and then taken for CT scan. Sadly the results of the scan were not good .... she had a stroke.... she is only mid forties. Thankfully she is doing good, it looks like a minor one, shes got to have MRI scan and a few other tests and then they can really assess her. OMG what a weekend thats all I can say. Luckily my sister in law works in Stroke Rehab so I hope D. gets seen by her at some point cos she will love her.
Today Im trying to chill a bit have made a lasagne and totally stuffed my face with it hehehehe, followed by raisins in chocolate, I think the diet is out of the window somehow hehehehe.
Maybe later Ill dream Im led in one of these

Oh your poor friend. It seems that the signs of a stroke aren't always easy to recognise. It certainly makes you think that you need to act quickly with something like this.
Your lasagne looks delicious...oh blow the diet occasionally or life isn't worth living!
