Well.... I went to the cinema last night and saw Sex and The City with a friend, see I always say I am behind with everything, most people went a long time ago. Me I prefer to look at the book then go when the SATC fever has died down hehehe! Well its certainly died down, because there was only 6 people in the whole cinema, I found that incredible. I actually thought it was just going to be myself and Charlotte in there all by ourselves but four others came in literally just before the film started. Hmmm I do like SATC and loved the series because it was escapism and I loved the quirky clothes and scenery... however ..... this second film was ok, cant say I loved it, cant say I hated it but I felt as though they were all trying too hard. Even the clothes were too outrageous, with the clothes in the series I always felt that they could be worn or give inspiration, but these they were just too way overtop except for just a few items. I personally think that they should stop now and I hope they do cos for me it has lost its 'je ne sais quois'!! Saying that I had a good time and I stuffed myself silly with popcorn and sweets and thats something I just never do!
Today I am really tired as I had to go out early into town and I am suffering a bit in the heat and with the walking I had to do this morning, and to be honest I didnt sleep that well last night. The dogs havent gone out today as Marley was so sick yesterday he just cannot stand the heat so both he and Dexter have been pottering around and I think they are quite enjoying it. I shouldnt really moan about the weather as it will soon be rain and ususally our weather it just awful and I will be moaning enough then when its rainy and cold! With me you can never win.

I admit I haven't seen it yet! I loved Sex and the City when it was a series and I loved the first film. I lived that life but it had less expensive clothes, less fabulous apartments, less outings to great nightclubs and considerably less men. But I still loved it!
I've never seen any of Sex and the City. I missed out at the beginning because I couldn't get it here, and I never like watching any series unless I can see it from the beginning.

Oh well at least the sweets and popcorn were a treat! I am surprised it is even still on in the cinemas.

Ayak, SATC was really good in the series I could watch it over and over again ... I have the box set I just love where its situated and the clothes etc and whenever I feel a 'girly night'come on out comes the box set hehehe. Marley is fine today he just cant stand being walked in the heat xx
Im suprised too Fab, I notice today in the papers it says there is not going to be a follow up film after the bad reviews of that one xx
