Life is good Award

I have been awarded a Life is Good Award from Ayak at  http://ayak-turkishdelight.blogspot.com/ whose blog I really love to read. She is so good at adapting to anything and tells it like it is about life in Turkey for her and luckily I had the pleasure of meeting her last year  ....... hopefully we will do the same this year am always in need of a good laugh and gossip lol and with us two nothing is barred from the conversation hahahaha.  Ayway here goes with the answering of the questions.

What do you see when you really look at yourself in the mirror?

My mother hahahahaha even though I am supposed to be a mirror image of my father hmmmmmm maybe the two of them must have looked the same!

What is your favourite summer drink?

Iced coffee absolutely yummy especially from Starbucks.

When you have time for yourself, what would you do?

I really enjoy just sitting in the sun in the garden with an iced coffee a good book, my MP3 player, my 2 dogs and daydreaming ...... omg how boring lol.  Oh and if I had water in the garden I would be dipping my toes into it once I had them brightly painted because I find painting my nails so relaxing.

If you had the choice to sit down and read a book or talk on the phone which would you do and why?

Read a book because I always seem to be on the phone for something or other and its nice to clear the head once and a while.

Is it easy for you to share your true self in your blog or are you more comfortable writing posts about other people or events?

I do tell quite a bit about myself in my blog but at the same time I am a bit careful what I say and write, although I have to say my blog is just a diary for me with a bit of therapy thrown in and I tend to write what I feel on the day I write it, I dont think beforehand oh yeh tomorrow Ill write this and that .... I just go with the flow!

If you close your eyes and want to visualise a very poignant moment in your life, what would you like to see?

I really enjoyed my wedding day for the second time, two years ago, it was a wonderful day with just a few people I liked and loved and I dressed how I wanted ........ in black of course hahahahahaha. In the picture we all looked so very happy and we all were .... just pefect.

Is there something that you still want to accomplish in your life and what is it?

Well there is actually a few things.  Firstly I want to be alive to see any grandchildren if my two sons get that far .... and no thats not meant to be morbid or anything but I do have a bit of a crap heart.  Secondly I want to be able to meet one of my friends who lives not far from Boston,  K. I will get there one day lol and I also want to meet another friend in the North of England, we all met via the internet on The Cardiomyopathy site and have been friends for years now but never ever met face to face so it would be good for all three of us to get together one day.

If you blog anonymously are you happy doing this.  If you are not anonymous do you wish you had started out anonymously so that you could be now.

Hmmm I am anonymous to a certain degree but I wish I could be totally anonymous as there is plenty of things I want to write about but I just cant just in case.  Quite a few things happened last year that I would like to have shared but its just wasnt  possible and so I would say I wish that I had always been totally anonymous cos boy did I have some good stuff to tell lol.

Is it easy for you to share your true self in your blog or are you more comfortable in writing posts about other people and events.

I do write true stuff about myself and am comfy doing so however, as I have mentioned in the above question there are things which I just havent been able to write about and I wish I could have done.  I like writing a bit about everything but what you read is true about me I just miss some bits out that I would like to share but just cant.  Maybe one day maybe lol.

Describe and incident which shows your inner stubborn side.

When I was a lot lot younger my father was very particular about what I did where I went etc, so i just thought wtf and ran away hahahahaha.

When you attended school, were you the class clown, the class overachiever, the shy person or always ditching.

I was terrible at school I hated it and I went to a very strict school.  The school wouldnt ever let me do what I wanted to do and this was just because I was in the top class, so whether I liked it or not I had to do Latin, all the sciences etc etc.  All I really wanted to do what Art and Cookery and Dressmaking sort of stuff cos I am more of a creative person although I did and do like languages except Latin of course.  I had to wait for years and years until I got to do what I really enjoyed the most!!

Omg finally Ive finished it its only taken me days and days.  Im passing the award on to Lorena at http://myeverydaywear.blogspot.com/ cos I really do like her blog, its mainly fashion but interspersed with little snippets of her life and as she lives somewhere I dont think I will ever get to I find the little snippets really interesting.
