To be honest I can now understand why people shop at Asda Walmart for food. I took Mum there this morning .. I actually hardly ever go there cos its absolutely massive cos its a Superstore and I really cannot be walking round it looking for items. However this morning I only stayed in the fresh section with Mum and I decided to do fruit veg fish shopping etc etc. The total bill came to £31.20 and I am in deep shock hahahahahaha. I bought only the normal items I would buy in Sainsburys and my bill was definitely much much cheaper, with most of the veggies half the price, I cant believe Sains charge £3.99 for blueberries and then say they are £2 at half price when Asda same weight blueberries is only £1. I bought stuffed trout with ricotta and spinach and garlic butter and lemon from the fish counter all packed up in a sealed oven bag for 2 for £4 ..... although some of you may think omg thats expensive lol but that is for 3 people. I love butter beans and even they were 4 for £1. So all in all Im a resonably happy bunny that was a real cheap shopping bill for me and I came away with bags of stuff, but I did only buy what I needed, I think it helped planning my menus for the next week cos I knew exactly what I needed to buy and for once my head and body just went in the right direction lol. All I got to do now is to go to my little Indian shop and get a few other little bits which are much better value and then make my own bread and Im sorted. Sometimes I think not having much money actually makes you think about what you spend but saying that Im getting a bit sick of having no money left I need my eyes tested and teeth looked at and Marls needs his annual booster next week. Marley has to come first cos his pet passport will not be valid (not that he uses it but it is in force lol and it wont be if he doesnt have the jabs done) and i think I already said yesterday I need a couple of things to be looked at with him anyway. Dex also has an appointment for a hair cut 30th June I so wish I could do that instead of paying £23 a go, thankgoodness its only every so many months. I already had to cancel mine for next week and Im debating and only debating cos I know I wont really, whether to do that myself but to be honest Im a bit scared Ill mess it up but it would save me £27 but .... and its a huge but lol.

I went to asda for the first time last week with my eldest who was doing her shopping there. I picked up a few bits and it only came to £17 which was fantastic and their cupcakes were just as good as any I've bought anywhere, pink glitter ones for 2.44 for 4. I can't wait to go back!
You and I have had this discussion so many times about lack of money. It's so depressing when you have a long list of things that really need to be done but seem to have to wait indefinitely for money to come in. It's driving me mad at the moment. Wouldn't it be nice to wake up one morning and decide to go out on a mad reckless spending spree? Oh if only!
Fab, yeh I was so suprised at the cost. Yum yum to the cupcakes xx
Ayak Yeh same old isnt it ... im getting a bit sick of it all now. MaybeI will win the lottery then we can both have a spending spree lol xx
