Dreaming

Ive been feeling really upbeat for the last week or so and have really been enjoying blogging again.  However today I decided to read a couple of spanish blogs I like and omg im now down in the dumps .... how crazy is that.  I have loved reading everything in the blogs but it reminds me so much of when I was there.  Go back I here you say .. well its not that easy.  I cant walk everywhere all the time like I did, and I constantly have to take medications and go to hospital appointments and anticoagulant clinics and Im not sure I can face the thought of having to do them regularly in another country and my spanish now isnt as good as it was. What a shame I cant live there for a few months of the year and just pop backwards and forwards as I want.  Anyway I decided to use Google Earth and I found the old street where I lived and my old apartment oh wow the memories came back ... not a lot has changed ....... it made me sad not happy and mad at the same time, mad that I cant do what I want anymore!  Hey ho though Ill just have to continue reading the blogs and dream a little, maybe you never know maybe I might win the lottery lol.  I did go to Mums today though, shes not feeling too well again, but we picked a couple of home grown lettuces for me to have tomorrow in a salad, some radishes and the first two strawberries of the season.  I came home put on the fairy type lights in the front room and put the fire light on and it looks all cozy and sweet so maybe Ill just settle down with the dogs and dream quietly away, shame I dont have spanish channel on my tv or else I could really pretend lol.
