I have never been the type of 'lady who lunches' type of person. Im not saying I couldnt be but its not something that particularly interests me. Yes I love going out to breakfast, or lunch or dinner but I like to go to quiet understated places where I feel particularly at ease. Wetherspoons suits me fine lol. I couldnt bear the thought of having to compete with other women who are just trying to outdo each other like they do when you see them in the newspapers. The same was when my children were younger and some men and women used to think their children were wonderful. Maybe they would be the next Nobel Peace or Pulitzer Prize winner but then maybe they would be a heroin addict or similar. I just think isnt it best to think to yourself that your child is great and see how things pan out. Anyway I digressed a bit there lol ..... back to lunch ..... As I headed out to the door this morning suitably sprayed with Vivienne Westwood perfume for my 'kick ass' day, I realised that I had yesterdays knickers somehow lodged down the leg of my jeans at the back of my knee ........ now this is why I could never be the stereotypical lady who lunches hahahahahaha.
