Top card is for Son No 2's girlfriends birthday tomorrow and to be honest its the one I have been most proud of. All the cards I make I use scraps that I have recycled from other things and I always make sure if anything is usuable then I use it. The crystal flower is from my wedding cake .... I always knew one day I would find a use for it! The butterflies which can hadly be seen are actually what comes out from a hole punch and I decided to use them rather than punch holes into the card. The bottom one is for someone from where I go volunteering, he cannot see properly so I have had to make the letters very large and I have to keep resticking them down. To me its too simple and Im not too happy with it. Since I took the pic I have gone over the letters again ... hopefully he may be able to see some of it and they will finally stay in place.
I decided to find a pic of my wedding cake to show the crystal thinggys..... thats its above ...... I made that too, I couldnt afford to buy one at the time and so decided to have a go myself, I was pretty happy with how it turned out. Anyway when I found the pic of the cake I found a pic of myself and my sister in law so I decided to post that as well it was taken at the pub after my wedding. As you can tell Im not one for dressing up too much and I tend to wear too much black.

The cards as usual are very good...and your wedding cake is absolutely gorgeous. I really think cards and cakes are the way to go with a new business venture!
the cards look great and you can't go wrong with too much black in your wardrobe!
